It is worth the price only insofar as it contributes to a larger “lifestyle” persona. Most people who choose organic are responding to advertising cues.
These foods are no more produced on quaint little Hippie communes than are the Keibler elves responsible for the baking of my biscuits.
Food choice – or to be more precise, the stories that surround food choice is a lifestyle status symbol pure and simple.

I think the FEDs should stop ALL cattlemen from using hormones to beef up the beef. Then organic would be back to what it was in the 50’s. And don’t give me the sorry story we have to compete.
